Austins takes on Santa for Charity!
15th November 2017
As Christmas approaches, we have decided to support Acorns Children's Hospice this year. Their fantastic work and dedication is truely inspiring. Over christmas, they need continued support to help bring families together.
Acorns Children's Hospice was created back in 1988 and what they offer is simply amazing. They provide support to young children and babies that have life threatening and life limited illnesses. They also widen their care to the extended family. In the last year, Acorns have helped so many families and have really made a difference to the struggles that a family may be facing. They helped 876 children and 1097 families last year and that figure will continue to rise. Acorns provide an 'on call' system, whether it's been on the end of phone at 4am or visiting the family home to help siblings come to terms with their newly triggered emotions. Acorns are there.
Taking on board what Acorns do for the community Austins decided to support them and raise vital funds for an amazing cause. Acorns Children's Hospice are local and have a hospice in Walsall, West Midlands. The hospice is able to prove that 'home from home' experience incuding ten bedrooms with state of the art facilites.
We will be taking part in the Santa Run at Walsall Arboretum on the 3rd December! The team will be walking 5K, along with their four legged friends, to help raise money for this incredible chairty. If you could show your support on our JustGiving page here, we will be so grateful. Thankyou!
